How to Stop Runonce Page Loads

      Launch Notepad by clicking the "Start" button, navigating into the "Programs" folder, navigating into the "Accessories" folder and finally clicking the Notepad icon.

      Launch your default Web browser and navigate to the link in the Resources section of this article. Move your mouse cursor into the text box located under the heading "Method 1" on this page. Click the "copy" icon that pops up in the right corner of this text box.

      Right-click within the Notepad window to make the cursor appear, then simultaneously press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys. This will copy the text from the text box into the Notepad window.

      Click the "File" menu in Notepad and select "Save As." In the "Save As" window, designate your desktop as the save location and name the file "RunOnceDone.reg" (excluding the quotation marks). Click the "Save" button.

      Locate the new file on your computer's desktop and double-click it. This will automatically import the file into your computer's registry and correct the ongoing runonce issue.
