Instructions

    • 1

Remove all the contents inside of the fridge. This includes food, drinks and ice.

    • 2

      Unplug the fridge.

    • 3

Place several towels inside the fridge and on the floor around the fridge. This will help collect any excess moisture.

    • 4

Prop the fridge door open and leave overnight.

    • 5

Check the freezer area of the fridge. Some mini-fridges have a tray below the freezer area that may collect water. Empty this tray to prevent spillage.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some mini-fridges have an "auto-defrost" setting. Instead of unplugging the mini-fridge simply select this setting.

  • Be sure to leave the fridge door open while defrosting, otherwise moist towels inside may get moldy.
