How to Add Fonts to Photoshop CS2
Adobe Photoshop CS2 comes with a selection of fonts already installed, and you also have access to all of the fonts that are already installed on your computer. However, if you can't find a font you are looking for, you can add new fonts to Photoshop CS2. You do not need any technical knowledge to add fonts to Photoshop CS2, as it is fairly simple to do.

1
Download a new font. If you do not already have a new font to add, you can get free fronts from the DaFont website (see Resources).
-
2
Check the file type of the font that you want to add to Photoshop CS2. In order for font files to be recognized, they have to be in TTS format. Sometimes when fonts are downloaded, they are in ZIP files and have to be unzipped in order to get to the TTS file. If you have a ZIP file, just double-click it to unzip.

3
Click "Start" on your computer and go to "Control Panel." Navigate to the "Fonts" folder.
-
4
Locate the download of your new font file. Drag and drop the new font file into the "Fonts" folder.
-
5
Look in Photoshop CS2 to see if you can see the new font. If not, you will need to close Photoshop CS2 and re-open it for the font addition to appear.
