How to Make Talking e-Cards

Sending an e-card to someone can be a wonderful way to share a special gift or "just because." While there are many Web sites that offer e-cards to consumers, there are few that give you access to e-cards that talk (in the automated voice chosen by the card provider). To make your e-card even more special, some sites allow you to send talking e-cards in your very own voice.

Instructions

      Visit a Web site that offers talking e-cards, such as American Greetings, Blue Mountain or AudioCard. At AudioCard, you can also choose a singing e-card.

      Select the type of e-card you would like to send. For example, birthday, graduation, congratulations, etc...

      Enter your personalized message for the e-card.

      Enter the e-mail address for the e-card recipient.

      Click on the "Send" option to send your talking e-card.

      If you would like to send an e-card to someone using your own voice visit Tomorrow's Hope (see resources). In order to send your voice on the e-card you will have to download the site's "Speak For Itself" software. The person you are sending the card to will also have to download the software.
