How to Use Magic Shave

Shaving with razors can be a pain, especially for men of African-American descent. Those with curlier hair are especially prone to razor bumps, which can be painful, and, over time, can even scar. To prevent this from occurring, some men turn to alternative methods to shaving. One such method involves the use of Magic Shave, a chemical hair remover. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Test your skin first. Before applying to your entire face, apply Magic Shave powder to a small area of your beard first for five minutes. After rinsing thoroughly with water, wait 24 hours and see if any reaction or irritation develops. If so, do not use the rest of the product.

    • 2

Mix up the Magic Shave. Gather a teaspoon and a non-metallic cup or bowl and place by sink. Scoop two heaping tsp. of Magic Shave into bowl and mix with two tsp. of water until a creamy paste is formed.

    • 3

Apply Magic Shave. Using a non-metallic spatula or other similar flat utensil, apply cream to entire beard. Leave on for five to seven minutes.

    • 4

Remove Magic Shave. Using the spatula, gently remove cream and hair with one edge, being cautious not to scrape at face. Afterwards, rinse entire face thoroughly with water.

Tips & Warnings

  • If some hair remains after one application, wait 24 hours before applying again.

  • Do not apply Magic Shave to irritated or broken skin. Do not use Magic Shave within 32 hours of shaving. Do not get Magic Shave in eyes. Never leave Magic Shave on for longer than the recommended time on the package. Doing so can result in chemical burns.
