Waxing is an effective way to remove unwanted body hair. It works by pulling large sections of hair out at the same time. Parissa makes a variety of wax hair removal systems, some which require you to heat the wax up and some that can be used with no required preparations. Using Parissa is much like using any other hair wax removal product, and it is a simple process as long as you follow the instructions.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Parissa waxing kit
  • Microwave (for some kits)
  1. Step 1

Make sure the hair you are going to wax is at least 1/4-inch long. The longer you let the hair grow, the better the results will be.

  2. Step 2

Warm up the wax if you are using the hot wax. Put it in the microwave for 45 seconds on medium heat, and stir thoroughly. If you are not using the hot wax, skip this step.

  3. Step 3

Take the spatula and scoop out just enough wax to cover a 2- or 3-inch strip. Scrape any excess wax on the edge of the container, making sure it drips back down into the rest of wax.

  4. Step 4

Spread the wax in the same direction as your hair growth. If using the hot wax, apply a generous amount. If using any other type, apply the wax as thinly as possible.

  5. Step 5

Quickly place the cloth strip over the wax, and firmly press down. Rub it down in the direction of your hair growth. Let the wax cool down for 10 seconds.

  6. Step 6

Pull the strip in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Pull it off as quickly as you can for the best results. Repeat this process until finished.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are waxing a large area with the hot wax, you may need to reheat the wax throughout the process.
