Things You'll Need:
- Espresso
- Milk
- Chocolate syrup
- Cool whip
-
Step 1
Steam until it reaches about 160 degreesAdd to the bottom of an eight or ten ounce coffee or mocha cup, 1 ounce or large squirt of your favorite chocolate syrup. Start by steaming a small pitcher of skim or 2% milk until it reaches about 160 degrees.
-
Step 2
Shots of espressoAssuming you already have an espresso machine, draw up one or two shots of espresso (depending on how strong you want it,) add this to the chocolate syrup; fill the rest of the way with the steamed milk.
-
Step 3
Top off your mocha with cool whip and drizzle chocolate over allTop off your mocha with cool whip and drizzle chocolate over all. If you prefer you can replace the chocolate syrup with caramel syrup instead. For those who are lactose intolerant, you can use soy milk in place of skim or 2% milk. You can also use fat free chocolate syrup and fat free cool whip to cut down some of those calories. Do not steam the milk higher than 180 degrees or it could scald the milk.
