Really Good Fruit Kabobs

Fresh fruit kabobs make a great snack when you watch movies at home or have friends over. It is a great easy snack that is inexpensive and healthy for you and your whole family.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Whole Pineapple
  • Wooden Skewers
  • Pineapple Chunks
  • Cantaloupe
  • Strawberries
  • Fresh Cherries
  • Black Berries
  • A Bowl
  1. Step 1

You will need to prepare each of the fruits that you have selected.
Scoop out melon balls from your cantaloupe and place in a bowl.
Place your pineapple chunks in a bowl.
Wash, and slice your strawberries in a bowl.
    Wash your cherries.
    Wash your black berries.

  2. Step 2

Hold your wooden skewer so the point is facing downward in your hand. Take a pineapple chunk and slide it on the skewer leaving about an inch
of your wooden skewer visible at the bottom.

  3. Step 3

Slide a cantaloupe ball on to the skewer followed by a black berry and strawberry. Be sure to use firm black berries so they don't fall off
the skewer. You can use honeydew melon balls in place of black berries
if you like. Top your creation with a cherry. Remember everything tastes better with a cherry on top.

  4. Step 4

Leave about an inch of the wooden skewer visible at the top. Place
all your skewers into a whole pineapple being careful not to make
    the pineapple tippy.

  5. Step 5

You will have a great centerpiece for any party when you are done.
