If you like peanut butter, you'll love peanut butter pie, and it's fast and easy to make. Even the kids can help -- there's no cooking involved. Serve up a creamy peanut butter pie as a cool summertime treat or with hot chocolate on a chilly afternoon.
Things You'll Need
- Cream cheese
- Peanut butter
- Confectioner's sugar
- Whipped cream
- Graham cracker crusts
- Dry roasted peanuts
Beat one 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add 2/3 cup of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of milk. Beat until smooth.
Gradually beat in 2 cups of confectioner's sugar. When all the sugar is incorporated, fold in a 12-ounce container of whipped cream.
Spoon equal amounts of the filling into two 9-inch prepared graham cracker crusts. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours before serving. Freeze one pie for a later date, if desired..
Remove from the refrigerator just before serving. Sprinkle with whole dry roasted peanuts, crumbled graham crackers or chopped peanuts, if desired.
