Whether you're 5 or 50, hula hoops are great fun! The only not fun part of hula hoops are when they wear out or bend. Here are few quick tips on how to take care of a hula hoop.

  1. Step 1

    Use your hula hoop correctly. Try not to bend, break, or jump through your hula hoop. This will help minimize the chance of it bending and breaking.

  2. Step 2

    When you are using your hula hoop, try to use it in a place where the ground is soft like grass. Eventually hula hoops will fall and hit the ground. Playing on the soft ground will help minimize potential issues when the hula hoops falls and hits the ground.

  3. Step 3

    Wipe your hula hoop down when you're done with a little bit of ammonia and a wash cloth just to keep the dirt off. This will help keep your hula hoop clean.

  4. Step 4

    Try to keep your hula hoop away from moisture and wet places. Moist places can take away some of the stickiness.

  5. Step 5
