Cleansing the body is a key componant in have a healthy and well balanced body. Some of you may have done a liver cleanse, and others might not know what a liver cleanse is. A liver cleanse is is a home remedy used to detoxify not only the liver, but the gall bladder as well. This cleanse is a very effective way to cleanse the body.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Apple juice or apples
  • Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 Cup of Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Grapefruit
  1. Step 1

For the first 4-5 days before your liver cleanse, eat as many apples as you can, or you can drink apple juice. For the last 2 days, drink 8 oz of apple juice every 2-3 hours. This will help ensure the liver flush is successful.

  2. Step 2

On the 6th day, eat a light breakfast with no fat. This helps the bile in your liver to build up which puts pressure in your liver. The pressure will eliminate more stones in your liver.

  3. Step 3

At 2:00 PM, the same day, 3 cups of water with mix 4 tblspoons of Epsom Salts. Pour the mixture in to a glass or jar. Do not drink or eat any foods after 2 PM. This is really important! Put the glass or jar in the cooler/refrigerator to make it cold .

  4. Step 4

At 6:00 PM, drink 3/4 cup of this mixture. It tastes very bad. You can add 1/8 tablespoons of powdered Vitamin C to give it a better taste.

  5. Step 5

At 8 PM, drink another 3/4 cup of thix mixture. Do anything you need to do, then prepare for the liver flush. You shouldn't do anything after doing a liver flush, just lie down and sleep.

  6. Step 6

At 9:45 PM, pour 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil into a jar. Squeeze a whole grapefruit into the jar. Remove any pulp with a fork. You should have 1/2 to 3/4 cups of grapefruit juice mixed with the virgin olive oil the jar. Close the jar, and shake it very hard until all the mixture becomes liquid, and 10 PM, drink this mixture. Try to drink it all in 5 mins or so.

  7. Step 7

Now, lay down in your bed as soon as you are done. This is important! Do not do any work! Just lay down! Lay on your right side, with your right knee up towards your chin for 20 or so minuets. Try not to move at all. Just try to sleep.

  8. Step 8

The next morning, when you wake up, drink a 3rd dose of your 3/4 cup Epsom salts. You can go back to sleep after you are done. Then two hours later, drink the last dose of Epsom salts.

  9. Step 9

Only after 2 more hours can you eat anything. Do not start with solid fruits just yet. Start with liquids, and move slowly to fruit. The next morning you will have some sort of diarrhea. You may or may not see gall stones. Little green things you may see are gall stones. Most people just eliminate regular waste on their first try. Others remove hundreds of gall stones. If you do not remove any gall stones on your first try, then do the cleanse a week later. One cleanse isn't going to cleanse the whole liver.
