Find The Weather Forecast For Mt Charleston, NV

Trying to find the actual weather for Mount Charleston, NV is quite difficult. You can easily find out Las Vegas's weather report. But searching the web to know the predicted temperatures up on the mountain is like finding a needle in a haystack. You can type in Mt. Charleston, NV at www.weather.com and it will get you no results. Even searching some of the local television websites will still not get you this information. After spending far too much time trying to find out the current conditions at Mount Charleston and the 36 hour forecast, I decided to write this article to help others save time. Knowing what the forecast will be is crucial when trying to plan a trip. If it is going to be cold, you want clothes that will keep you warm. If it is going to be warmer, you don't want to just have long sleeve shirts. Hopefully readers will use and appreciate this article and that it will help them plan accordingly for their trip.

Step 1

In the winter months you can check out the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort's website. It will tell you the current conditions up there.
Step 2

No matter what time of the year it is, you can go to KLAS TV channel 8's website.
Step 3

Once you are, click on the weather tab.
Step 4

In the middle of your monitor you will see a column that says FIND STATIONS. You can search by neighborhood or zip. You want to search by zip.
Step 5

Type in the zip code 89124 and click on GO.
Step 6

The weather listed now is the current conditions at Lundy Elementary School. If you scroll down in the middle of the page you can see the 48 hour forecast or you can switch it to display the 7 day forecast.
Step 7

If you want the weather up at the Mt. Charleston Lodge just look in the middle of the screen underneath the NEARBY STATIONS. When you click on Mt. Charleston Lodge it will display the current conditions for that location.
