We all know that a dry cough can be both very irritating and highly embarrassing.I remember once attending my child's parent-teacher conference,and my cough was so bad we had to reschedule the meeting.A dry cough can be very disruptive.There are many ways that you can put a stop to this today,not tommarrow.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    As always listen to your mother and drink water,water,and more water.Drinking water will help your dry cough disappear by keeping your throat passages moist.

  2. Step 2

    Try a big warm cup of tea with a squirt of lemon and a tablespoon of honey.The honey in the tea is said to help to coat your irritated throat and enable you to stop coughing.

  3. Step 3

    If tea is just really not your thing,thing try a big warm glass of milk and a few teaspoons of honey added to the milk.This remedy really seems to work at night before bedtime.Be sure to sip on it slowly.

  4. Step 4

    It is always more than a good idea to keep a good supply of peppermint candy readily available.Sucking on peppermint candy at the first sign of a cough is sure to hlpe get rid of it.

  5. Step 5

    Does the power of vinegar ever surprize you?A glass of water with several teaspoons of apple cider vinegar added works wonders to stop that dry cough.
