How to Get Rid of Smiley Central

If you have installed Smiley Central on your computer and are no longer using it, you do not have to let the software sit on your computer taking up precious space. You also do not have to leave the Smiley Central toolbar on your computer to be a constant annoyance. By following a few simple steps, you can completely remove the software from your computer, so effectively that you will never even know that it was installed.

Instructions

1. Click on your Windows "Start" button. Choose the "Settings" option. Click on "Control Panel."

2. Open the "Add/Remove Programs" feature.

3. Highlight "My Web Search" which is an alias name for Smiley Central. The wording may slightly vary to read "My Total Search" or "My Web Search."

4. Click on the "Remove" button to uninstall the software program.

5. Use the Smiley Central "Uninstall Application" if you experience difficulties uninstalling the program manually. The application will automatically remove Smiley Central and all of its components from your computer system.
