Check out the Juliana bracelets. They are made in three styles. One is the five-link bracelet that is connected by five links that are either oval or rectangle. There are various stones and chains in each link that add decoration to the bracelet. The clamper bracelet allows you to open and close the bracelet rather easily with its spring-hinge connection; the flat-backed bracelet has colorful stones on a chain that uses a clasp or box and tongue closing. On clasps there is usually an arrow design and three or four ridges.

Examine the Juliana earrings. These will come in clustered, dangling or cascading styles. Clustered will have three or four stones together connected to one main stone while the cascading earring will have thin lines of tiny stones on a delicate chain starting from short to long in three to four lines. Dangling is exactly that with small stones hanging down from a smaller or larger stone. The older Juliana earrings will use a screw that needs to be turned in order to keep the earring attached to the back of the earlobe.

Look closely at the three kinds of necklaces by Juliana. There is a pendant on a chain necklace that basically can have a brooch or pendant attached to the chain allowing it to be the center of attention without any distractions from fringes or tassels. The chain and rhinestone necklace has the fringes and tassels that hang from the chain. The third type of necklace is the link necklace that has five links attached with stones in between each link. Juliana necklaces will have a wire hook to attach one end to the other or a double-width hook for heavy necklaces.

Recognize the shape of the stones. In Juliana jewelry there are oval and rectangular shapes that are flat on the bottom with a dome on the top. The rectangular stones are unique in the way they are cut. They have each edge cut off but remain smooth. The oval-shaped stones are either pointed at each end or only at one end.

5
Analyze the back of the jewelry. Juliana jewelry will sometimes use a figure-eight puddling, which looks like a melting of the gold or silver metal finishes. Look at the back of the stone. If it is opened then you will be able to see the color of the stone. Some stones will have a closed backing where the stone can not be seen at all. There is also a foiled backing where the color of the stone is not seen, but it appears golden.
