How to Remove the Trojan Alemod

The Trojan Alemod virus infects Dynamic Link Library files in Windows files on your computer. Once infected with the Alemod virus, your computer will show fake messages that ask you to check your computer for spyware. When you take this action, the Trojan will infect your computer and start keeping track of your Web surfing activity while visually changing the desktop wallpaper on your computer. Alemod will then download other malware from the Internet to your computer and will be started on every computer reboot.

      Download and install the Alemod Virus Removal Tool listed in the resources.

      Restart your computer in Windows safe mode by rapidly depressing the "F8" keyboard function key during the rebooting process.

      Run the Alemod Virus Removal Tool by double-clicking the virus removal icon on your computer's desktop.

    • 4

      Restart your computer and the Alemod trojan virus should be removed.
