How to Draw Tweety Bird

Many people love Tweety Bird. It's hard not to adore the seemingly innocent and wide-eyed Warner Bros. bird that torments Sylvester the cat. When it comes to cartoon characters, Tweety Bird is one of the easiest to draw, thanks to his simple features and trademark expression.

• Paper

Instructions

1. 

   Start with the eyes. Draw two large ovals that are slightly tilted toward each other at the bottom.

2. 

   Add the mouth. Draw a rounded, fat beak below the eyes. Use a shape similar to a square tilted on its side with a dipping line through its center.

3. 

   Make the head and neck. Draw a fat, rounded shape above the eyes and curving inward near the beak. Draw two more rounded shapes on each side of the beak for Tweety's fat cheeks. Connect each cheek with a line to the two lines that make up the neck.

4. 

   Draw the body. Make two lines coming down from the neck, one on each side of the neck. Angle them slightly outward with a curve beneath each. Draw a rounded shape for Tweety's belly, culminating in two stumps where the feet will be attached. Make sure the curve of the wings connects with the curve of the belly.

5. 

   Fit on the feet. On the base of each stump, draw two lines that end up in a plump oval for the foot. Do not connect the side of the oval, but make a small indented line to indicate a toe.

6. 

   Finish him off. Fill in the large oval eyes with a circle near the top of each oval. Fill in that circle with another circle for the pupil. Shade in the pupil, leaving a small white dot in each. Draw three lines atop the head for hair and three lines atop each eye for eyelashes.
