How to Draw Temari From Naruto
Temari is a female ninja warrior in the Naruto manga and anime series. She wields a giant fan that she can create magnificent windstorms and small tornadoes with. This female ninja is a huge hit amongst fans of the Naruto series both for her feisty personality as well as her extremely unique weaponry. She initials begins the series as a foe of Naruto but they quickly join forces when all of the ninjas being trained in Konoha find themselves under attack.

Draw Temari's head with a slightly oblong oval shape. Attach a "V" shape to the base of Temari's head to create the chin of the character. Draw a vertical line down Temari's head to mark out where the nose will go and to help center the eyes and mouth. Draw a horizontal line across the middle of the head to create Temari's eye guideline. Draw another horizontal guideline across the bottom section of the face to create the mouth guideline.

Draw the guideline for Temari's neck with a vertical line. Create the frame for her chest with cylinder shape. Attach a vertical line to the bottom middle of this cylinder. Create the frame for the girl's hips with a triangular shape. Add shoulders with small circles attached to left and right side of Temari's chest. Add a diagonal line to the bottom of these shoulder guidelines to create the framework for the upper arm. Place a small circle on the bottom of this line to create the elbow guideline. Attach another diagonal line for Temari's forearms that heads toward the body.

Draw the girl's eyes with two curved lines just above the eye guideline on the face. Attach a semi circle for the iris to the middle of this curved line. Draw the pupil with a circle inside the iris. Add diagonal line curving inward to the outer corner of each eye to create the eyelashes.

Draw Temari's eyebrows with a curved line above each eye. Create her nose with a small backwards "L" shape below the eyes. Add the mouth with a slightly diagonal line just below the nose. Create a shadow for the lower lip by drawing a small upside down triangle under her mouth. Draw Temari's headband with two slightly curved parallel lines across the top of her head. Add her ears with two small "C" shaped lines on the outside of her head just below the headband.

Flesh out the form of this female ninja by drawing parallel lines around the neck and arm guidelines. Create Temari's bosom with two curved lines on her chest. Connect the chest to the hips with tow slightly curved lines coming down from the bottom corner of the chest and connecting to the top corner of the hips.

Create Temari's characterstic hairstyle with large bangs and four pig tails. Do this by drawing two large curved leaf shapes on the upper left and right corners of her head for her bands. Add her pigtails by drawing a clump of jagged triangular shapes to the upper left and right portions of her head. Add these jagged clumps to the bottom left and right side of her head as well. Draw her ninja clan insignia on the center of her headband with a horizontal dash. Place an hourglass shape directly below the dash.

Create Temari's ninja robes by drawing a "V" shape collar at the base of her chest. Add two long, thin, diagonal triangles to the side of the collar to show that it is somewhat upturned. Add a band of cloth coming down from the top of Temari's shoulder and passing behind the side of her bosom.

Ink over the lines you wish to keep. Do not ink any overlapping lines such as the guidelines on the face. Let the ink dry and carefully erase all of your pencil work. Add shadows with a dark line under the chin. Darken in Temari's pupils as well.

Tips & Warnings
You can color the illustration of Temari with art markers. Make a photocopy of the illustration first, however so that you do not ruin the line art.
Make Temari's eyes large and feminine but do not make her look innocent or cute. She is a ninja, after all.
