How to Draw Kid Naruto
Naruto was a very wild and energetic child. He was extremely determined but also quite a bit thick headed. Naruto did not enjoy his ninja classes but instead wished to practice in real situations of danger. Naruto's enthusiasm and loyalty was touching and even though many of the other students regarded Naruto with a high degree of suspicion, he was still able to make some very important friends. Drawing Naruto as a child depends on creating a much rounder face than his young adult counterpart. However, considering that a large portion of the story of Naruto takes place with him as child, a true Naruto fan will want to master drawing this character in every age.

1
Draw the round head of the character with a circular shape. Draw a curved horizontal line across the middle of face to create a guideline for the eyes. Add another curved horizontal line across the bottom third of the face. This will create a guideline for the mouth. Draw a vertical line going down the center of Naruto's face. This will help you place the nose and center the eyes correctly. Add the top of the chest with a small rectangle. Place a circle on each side of the rectangle to create the shoulders.

Place the ninja headband across the top third of Naruto's head with a rectangular shape. Create the eyes on the character with two circular shapes on the horizontal eye guideline. Add the top eyelids with diagonal line across the top of the circle. Create the eyebrows with a curved line just above the eyes. Create Naruto's nose with an upside down triangle centered on the vertical line of the guideline, just above the bottom horizontal mouth guideline. Add the mouth with a curved line coming off the center of the mouth guideline. Create the ears with two curved lines on the left and right side of the face. Add two vertical lines coming down from the bottom left and right side of the jaw to create the neck.

Draw Naruto's messy and unkempt hair with a large bush of jagged triangular lines. Do this by drawing a line made up of triangular lines that curves up around the head. Draw three diagonal lines on each of Naruto's cheeks. Draw the large collar on Naruto's neck with two semi circle lines that start at the left-side cheek and continue around the bottom of Naruto's neck and back around to the right-side cheek. Add the base of the collar with curved line across the chest. Connect the base of the collar with the top of the collar with a vertical line on each side.

4
Draw the Konoha Ninja Village symbol on the child's headband with a small spiral shape in the middle of the headband. Add a stem to this spiral with a small diagonal line on the right side of the spiral. Add a small triangle shape to the bottom left corner of the spiral to create the point of the Konoha leaf.

Tips & Warnings
Large eyes also give Naruto a more childlike look. However, keep a look of determination in the eyes.
Be sure not to erase the pencil lines to heavily or you could tear your page.
