How to Draw Naruto Nine
Naruto quite literally struggles with his own inner demons. Since he was a baby, Naruto has had a powerful demon trapped and sealed within his body. This demon grants Naruto tremendous energy and power but can take possession of Naruto and cause wanton harm if the young ninja is not careful. The demon itself takes the form of a large fox with nine tails. When Naruto is possessed by the demon or uses too much of this demon's power, he begins to resemble the demon more and more. Drawing Naruto in this form is much like drawing a monster, and you can really go to town on the ferocious and macabre details.

Draw the head of the character first. Do this by drawing an oval shape. Attach the chin with a "V" shape at the bottom of the face. Add a cross shape over the entire face. Create the body next by using basic geometric shapes for each piece of the body. Draw the torso with a rectangle. Draw the shoulder, elbow and hand guidelines with small circles. Attach the shoulders to the upper left and right side of the torso. Draw a vertical line coming down from each shoulder for the upper arm and connect a small circle to the end for the elbow. Draw a horizontal line attached to the elbow circle and moving away from the body to draw the forearms. Place the hand guidelines at the end of the forearms.

Draw the large upper legs of Naruto in his Nine Tailed Demon mode by drawing two large cylinder shapes coming out of the bottom of the character's torso. Add the shins with a diagonal line coming out of the bottom of the upper legs. Attach an ankle to the end of each shin line with a small circle. Add the fox-like feet with a triangle coming out of the bottom of each ankle. Draw the guidelines for each of Naruto's nine tails by drawing nine wavy, curved lines coming out from behind the character and fanning out.

Add the hair to the character's head with several jagged triangular shapes shooting out of the top of his head. Draw the large, glowing demon eyes with two circles inside the face on the horizontal line of the cross shape. Add the upper and lower teeth of the mouth with triangular shapes forming the top and bottom of Naruto's mouth. The upper teeth will be made of downward-facing triangles. The bottom row of teeth will be created from upward-pointing triangles.

Thicken the form by drawing parallel lines around the upper and lower arms. Thicken the tails by drawing a parallel line beside each tail guideline and curving this line in toward the guideline to form a point at the tip. Add claws to the hands with four curved cone shapes coming out of the front of each hand. Add claws to the feet with three curved cone shapes coming out of the front of the feet.

Erase all of your overlapping guidelines such as the inner arm lines and the cross on the face. Ink the entire drawing of Naruto in this monstrous form. Set the illustration aside for at least five minutes and then delicately erase the pencil lines under the ink.

Tips & Warnings
Naruto is in great emotional pain whenever he is in this form. Be sure to give him a vivid expression of terror and distress.
Be sure to hold down your picture firmly when erasing the pencil, or you can crumple the page by accident.
