Step 1
Fine DiningBecoming a restaurant critic is much easier than a person may think. You don’t have to be a Hollywood celebrity or work for a television network to be a restaurant critic. All you have to do is pick about 5 restaurants per week that you plan on visiting for a meal. Essentially, once you figure out the five restaurants you will visit, all you need to do is to secure a reservation and bring your wallet and a small notepad.

Step 2
Mezzaluna RestaurantYou may want to select a different type of restaurant each night. For example, Italian one night, followed by a French eatery and possibly Mexican or Chinese. You should let the staff know what you are doing; you may even get a free meal out of them. You should take careful notes about every aspect of your entrée as well as the type of service that you receive.

Step 3
Once you have completed your reports, you can freely publish them on the Internet or try to get a local newspaper interested in publishing your findings. If your material is never printed, you can still have some fun.
