How to sharpen hole saw with the US-550 Universal Sharpener.

Things You'll Need:

  • US-550 Universal Sharpener and a shop vacuum.
  1. Step 1

    Unplug the US-550 universal sharpener. Install the hole saw attachment on US-550 universal sharpener. Install the hole saw into the hole saw attachment. Install the grinding wheel for a hole saw.

  2. Step 2

    Set up the attachment with the hole saw. Set up the hook angle of the tooth. Set the stopping point by hand. Tighten the secure bolt gently! Do not over-tighten! Mark the starting point of the sharpening. Set up the dust collector - vacuum attachment. Between dust collector - vacuum attachment and the grinding wheel must be max. 1/16" of space. Connect a shop vacuum with dust collector vacuum attachment. Turn on the shop vacuum and turn on the US-550 universal sharpener.

  3. Step 3

    Sharpen the hole saw tooth by tooth. During sharpening always use both hands! With your left hand hold the hole saw and with your right hand control the motion of the slide. For Best understanding look at the video.
