Power walking is walking at the speed between normal walking and jogging. You also move your arms quickly as if you were jogging during a power walk. Power walking is a great exercise to lose weight.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Find an uncrowded and safe place to lose weight power walking. A mall in the early morning, a park, a quiet street or walking trail are great examples.

  2. Step 2

    Wear a watch to keep up with the amount of time you've power walked.

  3. Step 3

    Make sure to wear good shoes. Those made for walking or running are best.

  4. Step 4

    Begin power walking! Power walk at the speed that gets you the closest to your target heart rate. You can find your target heart rate at http://musclemaking101.blogspot.com

  5. Step 5

    Power walk in intervals. Every 3 minutes, walk as fast as you can for 30 seconds. This maximizes weight loss. It is essential to lose weight power walking.

  6. Step 6

    Power walk for at least 30 minutes per day for 5 days a week. You can power walk more days a week if you like.
