Bing is a new search engine (formerly MSN) that finds and organizes search result in an attempt to make it easier for the user to make decisions on where to visit online.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A computer or mobile divice
  • Internet access
  1. Step 1

    Visit www.bing.com using any browser on a computer or from your mobile device.

  2. Step 2

    Enter a search term in the box and hit enter (return) or click on the magnifying glass.

  3. Step 3

    The site defaults to the "explore" mode, however, there are other categories from which to begin your search. These include images, videos, shopping, news, maps and travel.

  4. Step 4

    Bing will deliver results based on your search term. Click the result which appears most relevant, and you will be directed to that site.

  5. Step 5

    If shopping is your focus, there are merchants offering cash back on certain items found through Bing.

  6. Step 6

    Bing maps is a very useful component of the search site. Use it to find local business, get directions or explore a place.

Tips & Warnings
  • keep your search terms short and sweet. the more specific, the better the results.
  • Don't fall in love with one search engine. Try others like Google and Yahoo as well.
