Face a Cheating Husband

Have you ever heard the expression “I’m married but I’m not dead.” Overall husbands believe that flirting is not cheating. Some husbands casually flirt with co-workers, others will carry on a long-term emotional relationship, and some cheat on their spouse with a torrid affair. We have read all the books of how we should react to this situation. Reading how to face your cheating husband in a book is one thing, however looking your husband in the eye is another. Here are some tips on how to face a cheating husband.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Video
  • Calm demeanor
  • Date night
  • Control
  • Do not react to your husband’s words.
  • Think before you speak
  1. Step 1

Refrain from fighting as this never solves a conflict. Instead, address your husband with a medium tone voice. If your tone is too low, this will indicate to your husband that you are going to kill him. A shrill or high-pitched tone will be indication that you are irrational, possessive and that he should turn off his hearing. Plan and rehearse your words prior to speaking to your cheating husband.

  2. Step 2

Control your body language. Never face your cheating husband when you are aggravated. Refrain from slapping him across the face.

  3. Step 3

Gather the facts. Take a video of your cheating husband. Should you address the situation without proper evidence your husband will deny the accusation. Overall men do not realize that they are flirting excessively and that this is a form of cheating.

  4. Step 4

Plan a home movie date. Prepare for the date by having a beauty make over. Select a cute and sexy outfit. Your husband will assume that he is getting “lucky”. He will thus pay attention to you. Play the evidence video. When the video ends, face your cheating husband, look him in the eye and talk to him.

  5. Step 5

Put the shoe on the other foot. How would your husband feel if you flirted excessively with a co-worker at an employee gathering? Explain how his cheating behavior is disrespectful to you and your marriage. Guilt is a beautiful thing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Refrain from kicking, punching, pointing and breaking dishes.
  • Never face your cheating husband by speaking off the top of your head.
  • Do not contact the other woman.
  • Keep control of the situation.
  • Should you give your husband an ultimatum such as “If you cheat on me one more time I will divorce you and take you to the cleaners”. You must keep your word; otherwise, he will continue to disrespect you.

on 7/8/2009 The way you react to your cheating husband depends on how much you have invested in your marriage. Sometimes it is difficult to walk away. A cheating husband is a tough topic, one needs to look closely at their relationship and realize it is not black and white. Both need to work at their marriage. Husbands will stray when love making gets stale, or they become too comfortable. Marriage should not be a routine. Both partners must work at their marriage, if they want it to last.

on 6/25/2009 Very good article. It is very difficult to face your cheating husband in a dignified way, and as much as we think we would respond to such a situation in a certain way, we never actually realize how we genuinely will feel or respond when it does occur. Reality feels much different than the preconceived ideas do.
