The object of the game it is to collect as many flags as you can and to avoid saying the words 'Independence, Day, July, and 4th'. The guest who hears another guest say any of those words first gets to have one of their flags. The guest with the most flags by fireworks time is the winner. Winner gets a prize or can light the first firework.
