Things You'll Need:
- Face wash
- light weight face lotion
- some sort of acne cream
-
Step 1
Blemish fighting St. Ives Apricot ScrubFirst of all you will need an exfoliating face wash. I recommend St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Wet your face with warm water and use a quarter sized drop of face wash and scrub your face. Make sure to scrub the most oily spots on your face. Continue to wash your face for at least a minute and a half. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry with a fresh clean towel.
-
Step 2
Light-weight lotionApply a light-weight face lotion if needed. Make sure you don't apply too much lotion or your face will be overly oily. A lotion that i would recommend would be Ponds Lotion. Its for faces that are dry and it's great for sensitive skin!
-
Step 3
Spot treatments for your face are pretty simple. All you need is an acne cream with at least 10% benzoyl peroxide. This will help dry out the pimple without overly drying your skin. Another good spot treatment is using a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and holding it on the pimple for about a minute and a half.

Step 4
Light-weight makeup that's good for your face! When applying makeup make sure its not a heavy foundation. Heavy foundations will just clog up your pores and cause more acne. I would recommend Maybelline Pure Makeup. Pure Makeup is made with 50% water and its a shine free foundation that won't clog your pores. Less makeup is more! Try to limit how much make up you put on!
