You can make a simple crystal beaded necklace with a few supplies from your local craft store and these easy instructions. Create a necklace you can wear every day, or for special occasions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Crystal pendant 6 8mm Swarovski crystal bicone beads Seed beads Bugle beads Monofilament line Beading thread and beading needle Crimping beads, crimping pliers, clasp
  1. Step 1

Make two 1-inch twizzler shaped beads with two colors of seed beads. Follow these instructions, http://www.ehow.com/how_5072616_make-bracelet-looks-like-twizzler.html, to make two 1-inch sections. You could also choose to add another 8mm crystal bead rather than make the twizzler beads.

  2. Step 2

Cut a 19 to 21-inch length of monofilament line. String the crystal pendant to the center of the line.

  3. Step 3

Thread a seed bead on either side of the crystal, followed by an 8mm crystal on either side of the seed bead. Thread the twizzler beads or 8mm crystals next, followed by another seed bead on either side. Finish the centerpiece of you necklace with the last 8mm crystal on each side.

  4. Step 4

Alternate seed beads and bugle beads to create the sides of your necklace. Leave an inch at the end of each strand.

  5. Step 5

Thread a crimping bead and one half of the clasp onto each end of your necklace. Thread the cord back through the crimping bead and the first few seed and bugle beads. Squeeze the crimping bead with crimping pliers to secure the clasp.
