How to Make Tasty Jungle Juice thumbnail
Create a fruit-filled jungle juice for your next luau or celebratory barbecue.

Jungle juice is a common party punch that can be found at just about any large social gathering. You can flavor the punch with a variety of fruits or keep it simple with the addition of mixed fruit juices and lemon-flavored soda. Try making it with grain alcohol (such as Everclear) or with 100 proof vodka for an adult gathering. Plan on creating a large batch for your next party. A sterilized cooler with a spout works well as a serving vessel, but a large punch bowl will also be sufficient. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Pour 750ml each 100 proof vodka, grain alcohol, watermelon schnapps, and peach schnapps into a large container.

    • 2

Add two 32 oz. bottles of tangerine cranberry juice, two 32 oz. bottles of orange juice, and one 32 oz. bottle of lemonade into the alcohol. Stir well with a long-handled wooden spoon.

    • 3

Remove the stems from 1 lb. of strawberries and cut them in half. Add these to the alcohol and juice.

    • 4

Peel and chop two oranges, one large pineapple, two mangoes, four kiwi fruits, and one small watermelon. Add all of the prepared fruit to the mixture.

    • 5

Allow the fruit to soak in the alcohol and juice overnight.

    • 6

Serve the jungle juice with ice and lemon-lime soda on the side. The fruit will have absorbed much of the alcohol and lent their flavor to the punch. You can serve the fruit separate with eating utensils or you can serve it directly in the punch.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add other fruit varieties to create a unique punch and flavor. Different wines can be added to the mix with great success.
