How to Check Your PC Temp

The internal operating temperature of your personal computer (PC) is displayed as part of the BIOS system of your computer. It varies depending on the time of operation, power usage and energy-saving options that you are using with the computer. While you can install third-party software to monitor the internal temperature, you can also check the temperature by going into the booting system of your PC during start-up.

Instructions

Reboot your computer. When you restart your computer, your PC will go through a coded system called BIOS. You can read the screen, but usually pressing F2, F7 or the delete key when your computer is booting up will take you to the processing or BIOS main screen.
