How to Become a Certified Christian Life Coach
Certification matters to many people. It means they can trust the professional has demonstrated skills that have been approved by a professional community. In this case of life coaching from a Christian perspective, training and certification are available from the Professional Christian Life Coaching Careers Association (PCCCA).

Log onto the Web site http://www.pccca.org/clcc.htm, and read the topics covered in the intensive 12 week or longer 26 week training. Look at the Coach Light program. Talk with your pastor and your prayer group about this possibility, and ask them to pray with you to discern the role of the Spirit and which program is right for you.

Apply to enroll. If led by the Spirit, enroll in one of the three options that seems right to you. Fill out the online enrollment form at the PCCCA Web site at the link listed above. You will be contacted by PCCCA after they have received your enrollment form to inform you of your admittance status and to answer any questions that you may have regarding the program to which you have enrolled.

Pay your tuition through one of the three payment options available and begin your studies.

Study and learn using the materials provided by PCCCA. Many people find it very useful to journal reflectively about what they learn and about moments where they see God at work in their life or the lives of those around them. This would be especially useful during the practicum phase.
