Use Alkalol

Alkalol is a solution made from all natural ingredients: thymol, camphor, eucalyptol, menthol and oils found in spearmint, wintergreen, cinnamon and pine. Alkalol is a nasal irrigation product that provides relief from allergies, sinus infections, post-nasal drip, chronic nasal congestion and hay fever. Alkalol is recommended by doctors as an appropriate method to improve breathing and unblock nasal passages of mucus. Use as directed for best results.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fill a small glass 1/3 full of the Alkalol liquid, and add hot water until the cup is half full.

  2. Step 2

Pour the Alkalol mixture into the provided nasal douche cup, half at a time. Use one half of the liquid for each nostril.

  3. Step 3

Place a finger over the vent hole, and position the nozzle of the cup into a nostril. Avoid breathing through your nose by opening your mouth.

  4. Step 4

Raise the cup, remove your finger from the vent hole, and allow the liquid to flow into your nasal membrane. Repeat in the other nostril.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't be alarmed if the Alkalol liquid runs down the back of your throat. It will not harm you. After using the Alkalol nasal irrigation, blow each nostril separately and carefully. You can use this product as a gargle if your throat is sore.
