How to Burn a BIN File Without a CUE File

Burning a BIN file is the process of taking a disc image, made from media such as CD, DVD, or Blu-Ray, and returning it to a disc format. Knowing how to burn a BIN file to disc is not only helpful in restoring personal files you have encoded, but also files obtained off the Internet---BIN files are a common format used for transferring large data sets. Burning a BIN file without a CUE file is an easy task.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • BIN2ISO
  • Gizmo Central Software

    Converting your BIN File to a Burnable Format

  1. Step 1

    Download and install BIN2ISO (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

    Launch BIN2ISO from its location. Click the folder icon next to the "Open In" text box.

  3. Step 3

    Navigate to and select your BIN file, using the provided dialog box. Select a location for your converted BIN file by clicking the folder icon next to the "Save in" text box.

  4. Step 4

    Click the "Process" button and wait for the converting process to finish.

  5. Burning Your Converted File

  6. Step 1

    Download and install Gizmo Central (see Resources).

  7. Step 2

    Launch Gizmo Central from its "Start Menu" location. Click "Burn ISO to Disc."

  8. Step 3

    Navigate to the file you saved earlier in Section one, using the provided "Burn Image" window. Open the file.

  9. Step 4

    Select your preferred burning options from the "Burn Image" window and insert a blank disc appropriate for your file's size.

  10. Step 5

    Click the "Burn" button. Your file will be written to disc and a progress bar will be presented to display completion time remaining.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always use a blank disk for image recording to ensure it has adequate space.
  • Always verify burned data before deleting your BIN files.
