Veoh.com is a peer-to-peer network for uploading video to share, similar to its competitor, YouTube. Watching a video on Veoh.com is a simple process that allows you to watch videos of all genres and interests from sports to entertainment to instructional and educational. Here are the necessary steps to watching videos from the Veoh.com.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Flash
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have Adobe Flash 9.0.115 or higher to be able to view Veoh videos. If you don't have the Flash player, download it (see Resources). If you are using Internet Explorer, continue to Step 2. If you are using any other Web browser, such as Safari or Firefox, make sure your security level is at medium and continue to Step 3.

  2. Step 2

Make sure Internet Explorer is open and click on the "Tools" option from the top toolbar. Click on "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu and make sure the security settings are set to medium or medium-high.

  3. Step 3

Go to the Veoh.com (see Resources). Click on "Sign Up" at the top of the page. Fill in the criteria for setting up an account and click on the "Sign Up" button. It is not necessary to create an account to view videos on Veoh, but doing so allows you to set up your preferences for content that is viewed, such as parental controls, and makes it easier if you ever want to upload videos of your own.

  4. Step 4

Click on the "Video" option from the top toolbar after you are logged in. Choose which genre of video you want to browse, or click on the "Video" option to browse all. Browse through the videos and click on the video you want to watch to make it play. If it does not play, check your Internet security again, or make sure you properly installed the appropriate Flash player.

  5. Step 5

Go to the top search bar and search for any keyword. For example, typing "cats" into the search bar gives results for all videos with "cat" in the title or in the tags of the video. Click on a video to watch.
