How to Cure Elbow Pain

      Place a hand towel on the area with pain. Place an icepack on top of the towel. Allow to remain on the sore area for a minimum of 10 minutes and no more than 20 minutes.

      Take a regular dosage of anti-inflammatory medication.

      Rest the arm for at least five days and longer if the pain persists. The tendons and muscles need time to heal to cure elbow pain.

      See a local doctor for cortisone shots or other treatment options if the elbow pain lasts for more than seven continuous days.
