Have you been considering a colon irrigation cleansing? Have you wondered about the benefits as well as the concerns to doing a colon irrigation cleansing? Your colon is an extremely important internal organ. It is also an organ that can become cancerous or contaminated. Some medical professionals believe colon irrigation cleansing will decrease your chances of an out-of-balance colon, colon cancer and other potential colon diseases. Those same medical professionals believe to fully detoxify, a colon irrigation cleansing is recommended as this flushes fecal matter and contaminates out of your large intestine and colon.
Performing a colon irrigation cleansing yourself is simple. With a few supplies, you can do this yourself in four easy steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Organic fruits and vegetables
  • Hormone-free meats
  • Psyllium
  • Bentonite
  • Apple juice
  • Carrot juice
  • Celery juice
  • Ginger
  • Boysenberry juice
  1. Step 1

Begin by changing your diet. This is obvious and there is no secret. Stop eating fast food. Start eating organic. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Think about the meat you are eating---was the chicken, cow or pig most likely pumped with hormones to increase growth in an abnormally rapid way? These hormones are also being ingested by you.

  2. Step 2

Add Psyllium and Bentonite to your diet. Psyllium is a fiber and Bentonite is a supplement that basically eats the toxins in your body. Begin taking these two immediately. Take a few tablespoons of the Psyllium with every meal. Follow the directions on the back of the Bentonite supplement, which usually will instruct you to take two supplements twice a day with meals.

  3. Step 3

Consider fasting. Though fasting is not for everyone, it will really cleanse your colon. Try a juice fast for a day---or, if possible, a few days. Mix apple juice, celery, carrot and some ginger spice and use this as your homemade "detoxer."

  4. Step 4

Add some boysenberry juice to your juice fasting, as a final step. Now that you have been putting only good things inside your body, it is time to rid your body of any bad contaminates. At the end of your juice-fast, add some boysenberry juice.

Tips & Warnings
  • Before you perform a colon cleansing, please consider the following: Check with your doctor to confirm your health will support a colon cleansing. List all of the supplements and ingredients you will be ingesting for the cleansing, and research them. Many supplements can cause health problems. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and avoid all refined flour. Simple fecal observation will tell you what you need to know about your intestinal and colonic health. Fecal matter should be long and smooth, with a quick exit and easy to clean. Fecal matter should not be hard with lumps or clumps; resemble lumpy sausage, resemble lumpy sausage with surface cracks; or be fluffy with jagged edges.
