How to Set Up Optimum Online Email
If you are an Optimum Online broadband Internet subscriber, you will get free email as part of your service plan. Home subscribers receive a maximum of 5 email addresses, while Boost customers can access up to 15. Most users set up their Optimum Online email during modem installation, but it can be done at a later time as well. Once you set up your Optimum Online email account, you can check your mail through Optimum's web server.

Go to the Optimum Online website. On the homepage, you will find a customer link for "ID and Email Tools." Select this link to start setting up your email account.

Provide Optimum Online with the account number associated with your broadband service. The last name of the account holder and home phone number are also required to set up your email.

Select "Next" to choose a primary email address to be associated with the Optimum Online account. You need to pick a unique address that is not currently active. Pick your password as well.

Pick a security question to allow Optimum Online to provide you with your password in the case you forget it. You will then be redirected to your new Optimum Online mailbox to adjust any settings.

Login to the Optimum ID Management Center once you have finished setting up your primary account. You can also find this link on the Optimum Online website. From here, put in your email address and password. Choose "Create Additional IDs" and enter any other email addresses that you want to add to the account. Passwords and security questions must be provided for each Optimum Online email address.

Tips & Warnings
If you have difficulty recalling your Optimum Online account number, simply refer to one of your bills or check the packing slip included with your modem to retrieve it.
