How to Draw a '64 Impala
The '64 Impala was made by Chevrolet, and is one of the most recognized models of Impala, which has been around since 1958. The '64 Impala, with its aluminum trim and rounded features has been lauded by car enthusiasts and artists for its unique style. The '64 Impala is made up of two primary shapes, a rectangle and a trapezoid, and because of this it is easy to learn to draw one.

Draw the hood and front bumper of the '64 Impala. Erase the left edge of the rectangle and replace it with a reverse question mark shape. Draw a panhandle shape, similar to the state of Oklahoma, underneath the curve part of the reverse question mark. Draw a 2.2" x .1" line across the top of the hood, coming out from the windshield.

Draw the back bumper and the wheels of the '64 Impala. Study the shape of the wheels of the '64 Impala in the link in the Resources section. Draw the front wheel, which is 1 inch in diameter, and the back wheel, which is also 1 inch in diameter, but slightly cut off on the top where it's covered by the body of the '64 Impala. The wheel cover has five points and four small circular bolts in the middle. The bumper on the back of the car is shaped like a comma, and is half an inch wide.

Draw the line across the '64 Impala, the Chevrolet symbol, antennae and the gas door. Draw two parallel lines that go across the entire width of the car, with about .1" between them. Draw the Chevrolet symbol, with two wings extending outwards and an oval body in the center, between the front wheel and the door.

Draw the square door for the gas tank on the body of the '64 Impala, to the right of the trapezoids. Write "IMPALA" in capital letters, to the right of the gas tank and below the line that you drew across the body of the '64 Impala. Draw two antennae pointing diagonally up and to the right, coming off of the back of the body of the '64 Impala. The antennae should be about 2 inches long.
