    • 1

      Grind the metal where it was previously welded or riveted to ensure a smooth join.

      Attach the grounding cable to the bottom piece to be welded. Press the spot welding gun against the top surface to be welded. Repeat along the seam.

      Coat the weld with spray lacquer or paint to prevent rust.
