Things You'll Need:
- 1 Loaf uncut french bread
- Spaghetti sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Pepperoni slices
- Cookie Sheet
- Foil
-
Step 1
French breadPurchase one loaf of fresh, non-sliced French bread. Using pre-sliced French bread is an option but the slices are usually very thin and sometimes the sauce will soak through the bread. Cutting your own slices helps.
-
Step 2
Cut into slicesUsing a sharp serrated edged knife, slice the French bread into rounds starting from one end to the other. Make them approximately 1 ½ inch thick. I wouldn’t recommend slicing less than an inch due to the sauce possibly drenching the middle of the bread and making it soggy.
-
Step 3
Arrange french bread slices on cookie sheetLine a cookie sheet with foil and place your slices of French bread on top.
-
Step 4
Add sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoniStart layering with a spoonful (or so) of sauce first, spreading it thinly over the surface of the bread. Sprinkle on however much mozzarella cheese you prefer, and then top with pepperoni slices.
-
Step 5
Easy and quick!Bake in a 400 oven for 10-12 minutes. Perfect for kids and adults alike!
