Step 1
Swing instructionsBuy Pro Golf Lessons for Dad. Help him improve that swing. You can adjust to your budget by buying just one lesson from a Pro Shop or chip in with other family members and buy 3 months worth of lessons. If a series of lessons is impossible consider buying a video instructional series focusing on his skill level. When buying videos buy at local store, so that Dad can exchange it if video needs exchange.
-
Step 2
Golf ClubsIf price is no object, then you should consider buying a CUSTOM golf club. You can have your dad's swing analyzed professionally and a club made just for him. Check out the Pro Shops. You can buy Pro Ship Certificates for gifts. This is any golf lover's dream!
-
Step 3
Set up a courseSet up a miniature, putt putt, golf course in your back yard. Buy a course as shown in resources or use tin cups. Borrow from friends or buy secondhand several cheap putters.
You will need to be creative for setting up. Have a tournament and a prize trophy. Throw steaks on the BBQ and rent the movie TIN CUP with Kevin Costner. That will be day of fun for all. -
Step 4
One great expensive clubRemember all the kids can get together and buy golf accessories like tees, or golf club head covers. Buy one great club or the Medicus 2000 to be sure of appreciation.
AT Walmart you can get golf gloves, water carriers and golf shirts or 1,000 golf balls. You can pick up golf shoes at Pro Shops. You can also pay for a round of golf including the golf cart in advance! Be creative and have fun on those special occasions. -
Step 5
For really special time, take Dad out golfing alone. Spend some time together. This is extra special on a Birthday!
