How to Make a Rock Family for Father's Day

Here is a great gift for Father's Day that Dad will love to display on his desk at work or home for everyone to see. You can also add to it later if you have more kids! This gift is sure to be a keeper!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Acrylic paint
• Paint brush
• Wooden plaque
• One rock for each member of your family
• Tacky glue

1. If desired, paint the wooden plaque twice, letting each coat dry before painting again. Let the plaque dry completely and spray with an acrylic sealer spray. Let the sealer dry completely before the next step.

2. Paint each rock to look like each member of your family. You can add hair, mini eye glasses, googly eyes, etc. Let them dry.

3. Glue each rock on your plaque using the Tacky Glue. Be sure to use a good amount of glue. Order them with Dad first, Mom second, oldest child, and so on.

4. Write "Happy Father's Day!" on the plaque and let the entire craft dry for a few days.

• Collect rocks appropriate to the size of each member of your family!
