I remember ‘back in the day’ when sharp creases in jeans were the norm. You did not dare leave your house unless your jeans were creased. Today, creased jeans are not the norm. This is why this article is entitled “How to Iron Jeans Old-School Style.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1
     

    Put one hip pocket on the ironing board. Put spray starch on and iron.

  2. Step 2
     

    Reverse and iron the other hip pocket.

  3. Step 3
     

    Now- put one of the front pockets on the ironing board. Put spray starch on and iron.

  4. Step 4
     

    Reverse and iron the other front pocket.

  5. Step 5
     

    Place both pant legs on the ironing board and put both pant legs’ seams together. Put spray starch on and iron.

  6. Step 6
     

    Reverse and iron the other side. Once again - make sure that you put both seams together.

  7. Step 7
     

    Pull one leg back to iron the inside of the pant leg.

  8. Step 8
     

    Reverse and pull the other leg back and iron.

  9. Step 9
     

    Hurray! You are finished.

Tips & Warnings
  • The best time to iron jeans is when they are slightly damp. This makes it easier to iron and put in creases.
