This sauce is delicious on Salmon and other fish. Make it once and your family will insist you have it on the table with every fish dinner.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large red bell pepper
  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Parsley flakes
  • Onion and garlic powder
  1. Step 1

Cut pepper in half and remove seeds. Put the peppers face down on a piece of tin foil on a cookie sheet. Broil until skin is black, remove from oven and let cool. Remove skin and cut the pepper into small pieces.
If you're in a hurry, use roasted red bell peppers in a jar instead of fresh. This will cut your prep time tremendously.

  2. Step 2

Put pepper pieces in a small food processor or blender. Blend until the peppers are pureed. A few chunks are okay. Add 1/2 cup mayonnaise and two heaping tablespoons of sour cream. Blend. Add 1 teaspoon parsley flakes, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.

  3. Step 3

Blend all ingredients and let sit at least 30 minutes before serving. Pour into a pretty bowl or gravy boat and sprinkle with a few parsley flakes. Enjoy!
