I am writing to show people how to make a business card just from Microsoft word

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Words software
  • Avery label paper to print labels
  1. Step 1

The first thing you do is open up your Microsoft Word program. You then go to the top and select tools. If you have the 2007 version you would select Mailings. Select Envelopes and Labels for the older version and Labels for the newer version.

  2. Step 2

When you select this click a small box will pop up. At the bottom there will be a button that says 'options'. Click it. In the Label Products list select Avery Standard or the Label Vendors list select Avery US Letter

  3. Step 3

Scroll down to the 5000 numbers section and click on the type of Avery number you are using. It should be written on the cover of the labels. Some numbers are 5371, 5372, 5376, or 5377. Click OK. Type in the address and any other information you want of your business card. Click OK or New Document.

  4. Step 4

To edit the font or size of the information highlight it and right click for Windows or CONTROL and click for MAC.
    To print a single label:
    Under Print, click Single Label.
Type the row and column for the print location of the card on the sheet of labels.
Click Print. (On the Macintosh, click Print again).

  5. Step 5

To print an entire sheet of labels:

Under Print, click "Full page of the same label."
Click Print. (On the Macintosh, click Print again.)
