Things You'll Need:
- Sticky backed foam cut out shapes
- Clear plastic stamp block
- Fabric paint
- Cheap small foam paint roller
-
Step 1
Cover your work area to protect it from fabric paint. Lay out your piece of fabric on the covered area to prepare it for stamping.
-
Step 2
Peel off the sticky backed foam pieces and place them in a pleasing manner on the plastic stamp block. Making sure that all the pieces of foam are securely pressed onto the plastic stamp block.
-
Step 3
Take a inexpensive foam roller and load up the fabric stamp with some fabric paint. It you have more than one color to choose from this is a great chance to double load your fabric stamp for a gradual color change.
-
Step 4
Press the "inked" up foam stamp onto the fabric. After stamping, lift the stamp and take a look at your impression. If it is too dark don't press the stamp as hard next time onto the fabric, if it is too light, press the stamp harder after you "ink" the stamp up for the second impression.
