Choose paint color. Greco-style Mediterranean will use more white, cream and beige. Italian or Provence-style Mediterranean will employ the blues and greens of water and sky. Paint the walls that are not tiled. For a sunset look, use orange and deeper brown in a decorative wall treatment using paint or wallpaper.

Accent the bath with towels and rugs in rich colors. Use decorative accessories including shower curtain, fresh flowers, seashells and decorative soaps. These accessories can be dark or metal in keeping with the wrought iron theme, or try cups and soap dispensers made of ceramic that mimics the stone in the bathroom.
