How to Install Guardian Bark Collar Batteries

Guardian Bark Collars are made to be very pet-owner friendly. Follow the tips below for battery installation.

Things You'll Need

• Replacement 3-, 6- or 9-volt battery
• Coin

Instructions

1. Check for low-battery indicator light. This tells at a glance when the battery needs replaced.

2. 

   Unfasten collar from dog. Flip collar over and locate battery on underside.

3. Insert coin along slot and twist counter-clockwise to the unlock position. Battery should pop out with a small tug.

4. Insert replacement battery and use coin to twist in clockwise locked position.

5. 

   Replace collar on dog. It should be in good working order with battery indicator light off.

Tips & Warnings

• Try and keep extra batteries on hand so there is no breech in the dog training. Replace batteries every six months to avoid losing power.

• Check packaging instructions to ensure you are purchasing the correct replacement battery. Remove collar from dog while replacing battery. Properly dispose of used batteries.
