How to Apply Bright Pop Color Eye Shadows
At any time of year, bright pop color eye shadow is a great way to bring color and personality to the eyes. Bright colors can be used subtly or boldly, depending on your taste. It is always important to remember that when bright colors are used around the eye, the rest of the makeup should be more neutral to avoid looking over done.
When choosing brightly colored eye shadow, look for matte shadows, since shimmery ones can be a bit too much for every day wear. Shimmer tends to look best at night for a more dramatic look, but for those who really like adding a bit of shimmer to the eye, use a nude shadow or highlighting powder that has a slight shimmer to it with the matte bright eye shadow.
No matter how skilled you are at applying makeup, these steps can make it easy to apply bright pop colored eye shadow.

Apply a soft layer eye-shadow color over the entire lid using a medium eye-shadow brush. For a more subtle look, apply only to the crease. For a bolder look, extend the shadow all the way to the brow bone. To create an intense look, apply an additional layer until the desired effect is achieved. You also can use complementary colors to blend together. Use a base color on the eyelid, and then an accent color in the eyelid crease. Blend to create a seamless look.
