Connect your Smartphone to your Windows-based PC, and it will automatically start to sync unless the settings specify otherwise. To stop the process, you must be on the Home screen.

Click "Start" > "ActiveSync" > "Stop." This stops the synchronization.

Restart the synchronization by clicking "Start" > "ActiveSync" > "Sync."

Tips & Warnings
Unless you don't intend to ever use the ActiveSync application, it is recommended to simply stop the synchronization on your phone rather than disabling it on your PC.
When you are on the Startup tab on your PC, be sure that you only disable the "WCESCOMM" application. Disabling anything else may cause problems in your PC's operation.
